The Higher Education Conference provides UK-based university leaders and innovative education suppliers the chance to meet, network, and discuss solutions to the challenges facing the sector. The event brought together over 500 senior decision-makers from Universities to tackle the biggest operational, financial, and social challenges in the sector.
This year’s event took place last Thursday and, despite being online, MIRACL was delighted to be able to attend.
Rob Griffin, CEO at MIRACL comments, “The education sector is one we have been working with for a number of years. Quite often we hear common challenges for education centres - be it universities or colleges - the need for multiple users access on one terminal. When using multi factor authentication SMS solutions are no good as students don’t always have access to their mobiles and biometrics are impractical when you have multiple students accessing the same terminal. MIRACL Trust is the perfect solution in this environment - the Qatar Music School is one example where we’ve seen real success in this area.”
This year the conference featured hundreds of exhibitors and focused on the education sector’s immediate response and future revival after both Brexit and COVID-19. Key topics discussed included the future of the university campus, responding to cyber-attacks, admissions, staff, and student wellbeing, and the future of EdTech and IT infrastructure.
MIRACL used the opportunity to highlight its expertise in password-less verification.
